Coronavirus: We’re preparing, not panicking

As the threat from the COVID-19 virus is amplified, so too are our efforts. Cogdell is taking proactive, protective measures to safeguard our patients, our staff and the community we serve.

As of today Friday April 3, 2020:

*         Patients requiring care on any of our inpatient units will be asked to wear a mask during their hospital stay;

*         All care team members will be wearing personal protective equipment while delivering care;

*         All patients requiring hospitalization for respiratory illness will be admitted to our Respiratory Care Unit in a separate area of the hospital; and,

Beginning Monday, April 6, 2020:

*         All persons discharged from any inpatient unit will be asked to self-monitor for an additional 14 days after release from the hospital.

In the face of a threat, we don’t panic, we prepare.
In the weeks ahead, and as always, we are here when you need us.
