GENERAL
Position Overview
Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a physician in the Rural Health Clinic setting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Experience
Previous experience in family practice nursing highly preferred
Knowledge Of
Basic computer skills; strong verbal and written communication skills.
Licenses / Certifications / Registries
Current certification as an MA with renewal as required by the facility; BLS
OTHERS
Personality / Interpersonal Skills
Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.
