Alzheimer’s has been connected to unhealthy lifestyle choices. Ways to reduce the risk of the disease include the following:

  • Manage high blood pressure
  • Manage blood sugar
  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • Be physically active
  • Quit smoking
  • Avoid excessive smoking
  • Prevent hearing loss
  • Get enough sleep
