Dr. Kevin A. Hough DO was born in Kirksville, MO while his father was in medical school. He grew up in a small town in central Illinois where his father was a Family Practice Physician. Being from a small town, he is excited to be here in Snyder, TX and working at Cogdell Memorial Hospital, specializing in Internal Medicine and geriatric patient care.
He started his medical career as a Physician Assistant (PA) in 1998 working in Family Practice and Cardiology for 15 years prior to going back to medical school. He finished an MBA with a healthcare emphasis in 2000. He was then twice deployed with the Army Reserves as a PA after 9/11 and worked in multiple roles as a Family Practice, Cardiology, and ER PA.
In 2012, Dr. Hough with his wife and 8 kids moved to Erie, PA where he went to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medical (LECOM) school and also completed his Internal Medicine residency there. He also completed his Master of Science in Medical Education as part of his residency training.
Dr. Hough is an avid fisherman and hunter, loves old cars and woodworking, and spending time with his family.
