Dr. Sturgeon is a native of Midland. She graduated with honors from Texas Tech with a degree in Animal & Food Science, where she met her husband, Jason. She graduated with honors from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. Dr. Sturgeon completed an internship in Internal Medicine, residency in Dermatology, and fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology. She is a partner with Dr. Brent Paulger and Dr. Keith Wisniewski at Dermatology Associates of West Texas and is a former president of the Lubbock County Medical Society. She is most proud of her teaching award from the Texas Medical Association and the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Animal and Food Sciences Department. Dr. Sturgeon started the dermatology clinic at the Lubbock Impact Free Clinic, and continues to serve there today. She is the surgical director for the TTU Dermatology residency. She and Jason live in Wolfforth with their sons, Levi and Luke.
