GENERAL
Position Overview
Responsible for providing basic and advance Respiratory Care services to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The therapist proficiently plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of Respiratory Care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
Experience
Three (3) or more years of experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services highly desired
Knowledge Of
Applicable federal and state regulations and requirements; basic computer skills.
Licenses / Certifications / Registries
Licensed by the State of Texas as a Respiratory Therapy Practitioner; ACLS certification; Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
OTHERS
Personality / Interpersonal Skills
Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.
