Physician – Cogdell Family Clinic

GENERAL
Position Overview

Cogdell Family Clinic is seeking a fulltime Family Practice Physician with OB experience or an OB/GYN for limited OB practice.  The ideal candidate will have a desire tow work in a rural practice setting and an interest in engaging with the community.  Must be willing to share OB call and family practice responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education

Medical degree from an accredited program required.  Successful completion of a 3-year residency training program

Experience

Previous experience in a family practice setting required; previous experience in obstetrics highly desired.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working knowledge of common diseases and disorders; effective analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate difficult conversations professionally; proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Licenses / Certifications /  Registries

Current licensure to practice medicine in the State of Texas without restriction.  BLS.

OTHERS
Personality / Interpersonal Skills
