GENERAL
Position Overview
| Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician, as applicable. Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (PTA). Participates in operational aspects of the facililty, maintains performance improvement activities and participates in CQI activities. |
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Master’s Degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
Experience
One (1) or more years of previous experience working with a variety of patients of all ages is preferred; previous experience with a variety of physical disabilities preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; strong reasoning/critical thinking skills; excellent time management, collaboration, prioritization and problem-solving skills; proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Licensure/Certification
Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas with renewal as required by law. Must have BLS.
