Dr. Burson completed her undergraduate coursework at Angelo State University before earning a Master of Public Health Degree from Texas A&M School of Rural of Public Health in 2006 and a Doctorate of Medicine from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 2010. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Monroe, NC in 2013. Dr. Burson then pursued a Fellowship in Obstetrics at La Clinica Camellia in Memphis, TN, which she completed in 2014. Dr. Burson has been working in the Texas A&M Family Medicine Program as a physician and a Clinical Assistant Professor. In addition to a traditional family medicine practice, she has a special interest in Obstetrics, Women’s Health/Contraception and Pediatrics. Dr. Burson also speaks Spanish.
