Board Certified: Otolaryngology

Dr. Jason Acevedo grew up in Midland, Texas and then went on to Texas A&M University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Genetics. He attended medical school at Texas Tech University.

Dr. Acevedo then went on active duty service in the Army, where he completed his surgical training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The next four years were spent at Fort Sill, Oklahoma where he was the officer in charge of the ear, nose, and throat clinic.

After his honorable discharge as a Major, he settled down in Abilene and joined ENT Specialists in 2014.

Dr. Acevedo is a member of Wylie United Methodist Church, as well as a member of the board of directors of the West Texas Rehab. He also is currently serving as chairman of the department of surgery at Abilene Regional Medical Center, and is on the board of the Big Country Medical Society. Dr. Acevedo is a member of the Texas Medical Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has been married to his wife Stacy since 2005 and they have two sons.

Dr. Acevedo’s specialty interests include allergy and sinus disorders and he can perform in office allergy testing and treatment as well as in office balloon sinuplasty. Dr. Acevedo is also one of the few doctors in West Texas performing bone anchored hearing aid placement.
