GENERAL
Position Overview
Operating Room Registered Nurses provide care and support to patients before, during and after surgery. Operating Room Registered Nurses also assist the surgeon and the surgical team in their tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year OR experience preferred.
Knowledge Of
Basic computer skills; cognitive skills as related to the position
Licenses / Certifications / Registries
Current licensure from the State Board of Nurse Examiners by the State of
Texas with renewal as required by law; current BLS or ACLS
OTHERS
Personality / Interpersonal Skills
Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.
