Why Should You Join Cogdell?

Whether directly providing patient care or supporting those who do, every Cogdell Memorial Hospital employee impacts the quality of the patient experience and the level of excellence we collectively achieve. We are always looking for talented candidates, with compassion to help others, to add to our team.

Benefits

We offer competitive salaries and a wide range of benefits for full-time and part-time employees. The health and well-being of our employees is equally important as that of our patients. To help employees and their families stay healthy we offer benefits such as major medical, dental, vision, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Additionally, we understand that planning for life after employment is important so we contribute matching retirement funds through the Texas Counties and Districts Retirement System (TCDRS). An optional 401(k) plan is offered for employees that wish to invest additional funds for retirement.  Other additional benefit programs are also available.

The Transparency in Coverage Final Rule and Texas House Bill 2090 require disclosure of the negotiated rates with in-network providers and the historic allowed amounts paid to out-of-network providers, for all health plans available to employers.  Files containing this information for the plans covered are published here.

Paid time off for vacation, sick leave, continuing medical education, funeral leave, and jury duty is another great benefit. Eligible employees begin accruing hours for paid time off (PTO) and extended time off (ETO) from day one. Benefits and salaries increase as your years of service grows.
